Hollywood Burbank Airport
We recommend booking your flights for the Bob Hope Hollywood Burbank Airport. It's a small, easy to navigate airport that's just minutes away from the wedding ceremony and reception venues.
If you prefer, LAX also works, but it's quite a bit further away, traffic can be an issue, and it's a really big airport where it can be challenging to find your way.
First of all-- thank you for coming to our wedding from far away! We so appreciate it, and hope you enjoy the wedding, reception, and your time in our beautiful LA area.
We're giving you some ideas for local hotels in the Glendale and Pasadena areas.
We're sorry, but we weren't able to reserve a block of rooms for our out of town guests-- we aren't expecting a large enough group to do that.
However, there are also options for Air BNBs, Bed and Breakfasts, and VRBOs in the area.
We've done a little research and have collected some ideas for hotels you might consider.
Also, many have the usual discounts-- AAA, AARP, etc. And a tip from a hotel desk clerk is to look at the individual websites and ask for the "best available rate".
Just please note-- the prices listed are just what I found when I searched on June 21, and might well change by the time you book-- for better or for worse.

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena
This is a glorious Pasadena landmark that can be yours for a few days for a rather affordable price. It has beautiful grounds and public spaces, as well as nicely appointed guest rooms and lovely restaurants and a great pool. Downside is that, though it's a short drive to downtown Pasadena and to the wedding sites, it's not too walkable. The onsite restaurants are great, and also a bit spendy.
Hyatt Place Pasadena
Great location, close to Old Town Pasadena with great restaurants and fun shops to explore. Nice location for walks or runs. Free breakfast. Pool, spa, parking.
Hyatt Place Glendale / Los Angeles
This looks like a good option-- a high rise hotel in Glendale, close to both the wedding venue and the reception. An easy walk to Brand Avenue, where there are 2 amazing shopping malls- the Americana on Brand is a gorgeous outdoor mall with excellent restaurants and shopping, and a fun atmosphere. The Glendale Galleria mall is also close. And, a short drive away is Griffith Park, with the famed observatory and hiking to the Hollywood Sign.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Glendale Downtown, an IHG Hotel
This one is in Glendale, a little farther from the action on Brand Ave and the freeway that you'll take to get to the cermony. But still quite doable. And it has the Holiday Inn Express breakfast that's better than most free breakfasts in hotels.
Glendale Express Hotel
Billed as "LA's best cheap chic hotel", this one has a great location. Also has a kind of retro fun ambiance.
Hilton Pasadena
A nice comfy hotel in downtown Pasadena. A short walk to interesting shops and restaurants.
Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town
A very nice Marriott Hotel in Old Town Pasadena. A nice walk to the beautiful Pasadena City Hall complex, local parks and shops and restaurants. Close to Glendale Temple and the reception venue.
